"A song a day/kids helping kids"

is a campaign we started this Jan 2011 to write a produce a "good news" song each day celebrating everyday heroes. There was a study done that stated people who are exposed regularly to extraordinary acts of kindness found themselves wanting to make change in the world. We decided to expose these amazing stories through the power of MUSIC!! We collaborated with as many artists as we could and the work has been phenomenal! We are now working with kids in Brooklyn and the Bronx as a summer program to produce a cd of these amazing stories to raise money for a school in Haiti! This segment of the campaign is called "KIDS HELPING KIDS". Teaching kids in America that they are kids across the world that have so much less than them and that they have the power to help is one of the greatest seeds to plant in a child! Compassionate kids grow up to be loving adults who raise more compassionate children! Help us plant this seed. It is a vital need!
